My fourth great grandfather on the Judge-Quinn side of the family, Jacobus Judge was born in 1731 in Ireland, the son of Rosa and Franciscus. After both his parents died, Jacobus was left to tend the small piece of land the family owned since 1710.The town of Sligo was in County Mayo.
